Whisky! One of the world’s most favorite alcohols has its origins from Ireland. Whisky was invented by the monks, who had travelled to the eastern part of Ireland. These monks had learned the expertise of liquor distillation by heating malted mash at around 175 degree Celsius, making ethanol evaporate with only pure whisky left behind. Perhaps this is could be the reason as to why, it’s alternatively known as ‘Spirits’.

However in the United States whisky is usually made from rye, maize or wheat, mixed with other kinds of distilleries making it one of the best alcohols, preferred all over. But however in countries like Ireland and Scotland, whisky in made from malted barley. Bourbon whisky, which is another in its kind and preferred mostly among the fairer sex is made in Bourbon, Kentucky.

One could understand whisky fizz, as an American drink blended with the finest mixture of fruit juices such as lime juice, orange pulp and carbonated water. Lime juice and carbonic water i.e. soda make up the key ingredients of this drink. Whisky Fizz is known to be the best American cocktail, served in most of the hotels and restaurants, shaken and served instantly in a high ball glass along with one or two ice cubes.
