Benedictine is made of herbs, roots and sugar with an alcoholic base. One of the best ways to taste the distinct flavors of Benedictine is in a B&B in which the liqueur is mixed with brandy. B&B cocktail is prepared by pouring the Benedictine into a brandy snifter and the back of a bar spoon is used to gently float the brandy on top.
